The Amy Ryan Band rocks the blues with its combination of soulful originals (drawing from the highly successful album "Shake and Shimmy") and interesting covers that range from straight up blues to funk, soul and blues rock.
We're pleased to present this preview from our forthcoming album due out this summer. The song "Won't You Tell Me" is a Green/Stein composition and features our good friend Christopher D. Ferrone on tenor sax. With Amy Ryan, Richard Green, Ed Stein, Mark McKay and Dave Imbarrato. Big thanks to our engineer/producer Frank Kennedy for his stellar audio and video production work. For the latest installment in our 10th anniversary retrospective here are some pics of Amy Ryan and Richard Green from around 2018/19. Specific venues include The Red Lion Inn (Stockbridge, MA), The Egremont Barn (Egremont, MA), Helsinki Hudson (Hudson, NY) and Spencertown Academy Arts Center (Spencertown, NY). And for the observant of you - yes, that's Sonny Rock on the drums behind that huge hat!
Continuing our 10 year anniversary retrospective - back in 2017 3/5ths of the band were Berkshire "lads". Big thanks to our former rhythm section Alan Bauman on drums and Stephen Gerard Dietemann on bass! And of course, Ed Stein on keys who is still with us!
